About ToolBoxOnline

Free online tools that work entirely in your browser

Our Mission

We build free, fast, private online tools that anyone can use without installing anything. No signups, no ads getting in the way, no data collection. Just tools that do one thing well — in your browser, on any device.

tools & Features

68+ Free Tools

Text formatting, developer utilities, calculators, reference tools, and fun media tools — all free, all in one place.

Runs in Your Browser

Most tools process data locally on your device. Your files and text never leave your computer unless a tool explicitly needs an external API.

No Signup Required

Every tool works immediately. No account creation, no email verification, no credit card. Open and use.

Multi-Language Support

Available in English, Spanish, and Arabic. We are working on more languages.

Privacy First

We do not track you. No analytics cookies. No personal data collection. Tools that need external APIs clearly state it.

Ad-Supported, Not Ad-Ruined

Lightweight advertising keeps the tools free. No popups, no intrusive overlays, no auto-playing video ads.

About This Project

ToolBoxOnline started as a collection of tools the creator needed personally — a JSON formatter, a word counter, a password generator. It grew into a 68-tool platform serving users worldwide. Every tool was built because someone needed it, and keeping them free and accessible is the core principle behind this project. The site is independently built and maintained. No venture capital, no exit strategy — just a useful collection of tools that stay out of your way.

Built With

This site is built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript. Deployed on Vercel. Tools use a mix of browser-local processing and external APIs — each tool page clearly states how your data is handled. We use Open-Meteo for weather (free, no API key), GIPHY for GIFs, CoinGecko for crypto prices, and NASA APOD for astronomy images.
